Nandyal TDP MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy died of sudden heart attack on Sunday morning at his residence in Allagadda. Bhuma was admitted in Suraksha Hospital in Nandyal where he breathed his last. Doctors tried for an hour to rescue him, but in vain. Sadness filled in Allagadda and Nandyal after his death. Bhuma Nagi Reddy (1964-2017) won as MLA once and as MP for 3 times. Bhuma gained fans and got a wide publicity while he was in TDP.

Bhuma and his wife Shobha Nagi Reddy joined hands with YS Jagan and played a key role in YSRCP. Bhuma Shobha Nagi Reddy was a good spokesperson. After her death in a road accident, Bhuma went into depression.

Bhuma Akhila Priya contested as MLA and won from Allagadda Constituency while in YSRCP. After a While, Bhuma Nagu Reddy along with his daughter Akhila Priya joined TDP again in Feb 2016.

He had attended a meeting with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday in connection with the introduction of budget in the Assembly.

His body was shifted to Nandyal TDP Office where fans throng to paid their tribute to their leader Bhuma Nagi Reddy. And then shifted to his Allagadda Residence from Nandyal for Cremation on Monday.
